Privacy Policy

Last updated 2026-08-06

This policy covers Pressing Ideas apps (currently Powerdown). It's written to say plainly what we collect and why, not to give ourselves room to do more with your data later.

What we collect

Account and household configuration you set up directly: household and member records, schedule and app/website allow-lists, and requests you submit through the app. If you're a keyholder, the mobile phone number you enter in the app's notification settings, used solely to send you the account notifications described in our SMS Program Terms. Basic operational logs (e.g. tamper/security events, backend uptime) needed to make the service work and alert you when something needs attention.

What we don't collect

No browsing history beyond the domain-level allow/block decisions the app itself needs to enforce. No location data. No advertising identifiers. No data from anyone other than the account holder entering their own information.

How it's used

Strictly to operate the service: enforcing the schedule and allow-lists you configure, sending you the notifications you've asked to receive, and detecting/alerting on tampering or service issues. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not build profiles from it beyond what's needed to run your own account.

Who it's shared with

Nobody, except the infrastructure providers strictly necessary to deliver the service — for example, Twilio (SMS delivery) and Apple (Screen Time / push notification APIs) — each bound to using it only for that delivery purpose. We do not sell data, and we do not share it for marketing, ours or anyone else's.
